The Susan B. Anthony House was the home of the famed women's right activist during her most active phase in the suffrage movement, from 1866 until 1906. The historic residence was also the site of Anthony's arrest in 1872 for voting and where she aided in writing "History of Woman Suffrage". Today, the home features artifacts and exhibits relating to Anthony's struggle as well as many pieces of Victorian furniture. Built before the Civil War, the home is located just west of downtown Rochester's Cascade district.
