The Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse Museum features the preserved lighthouse built on site in 1822 and the keeper's house erected alongside it over 40 years later in 1863. Visitors can take a guided tour of the lighthouse and its attached residence, where historical exhibits and antique items from past keepers are out on display. The lighthouse is in the northern Rochester village of Charlotte, just blocks inland from Lake Ontario past Ontario Beach Park.
